		<description>That&#039;s a good list!  Number 2 definitely rings true for me.  The worst experience I&#039;ve had with starting a job was the time I joined a company and my machine hadn&#039;t even arrived yet.  Someone dug around in a closet and got me a truly sad machine (broken CD-ROM drive, semi-functional network plug, etc.).  What an uninspiring/demoralizing way to start a job!
